“Instant Booking” gives workers the ability to become affiliated to a department. Workers can directly book into shifts themselves without having to be approved by the department. This is ideal for workers that are well known to the department and do not need to go through the approval process. Instant booking also gives doctors more ownership of their shifts and working rota.

You can enable an Instant Booker by following these steps.

1) Open Staff tab on Menu > Find user name > Open user profile > Select Booking Preferences.

2) Select the Instant Book Department/Units box and select desired department(s) > Tap Save changes.

The user will now be able to instantly book into these shifts.

A Worker can have “instant booking” privileges for multiple departments.
