This article provides guidance to agency users on what to do when you receive the 'NI Number doesn't match' error when creating an agency worker in Patchwork Agency Manager.
The error below indicates that the worker you're trying to create already has an account associated with that email address (possibly with a different agency), and the National Insurance number you provided doesn't match the one on their existing account.
1) Double check the National Insurance Number with the worker - please ensure you're inputting the correct NI Number when creating the worker. You can do so by verifying this information with the worker directly
2) Ask the worker to review the National Insurance Number on their account - if the information you're inputting is correct, the worker's existing account is likely to have an error in the NI Number field. Please ask the worker to log in to their account and update it should this be the case. Please note, a National Insurance number can only be updated on the Web app - app.patchwork.health
