How do I review and approve/reject an exception report?

Learn how to approve/reject an exception report so that it can be processed.

To review and approve/reject an exception report, please follow the below steps:

  1. In the Patchwork Rota hub, select 'Home'
  2. Any exception reports that you’re authorised to review will show in the exception reports task tray
  3. Click on any exception report to view the details 
  4. Approvers can choose to either:
    1. Approve the exception report and compensation
    2. Approve the exception report and adjust compensation
    3. Reject the exception report

💡You will receive email notifications for exception reports, which will include a link to take you directly to the report.

💡Once you have approved/rejected the exception report, the worker will be notified. 

💡 Not receiving notification of relevant exception reports? Contact your in-house system administrator for access to other departments.
