Three email notifications are triggered when a shift changes from available to pending:

One to the general email address linked to the department
One to whoever originally created the shift
One to the worker who has applied

**How do I know when an instant booking candidate has booked on to a shift?**

The same email notification process happens when an instant booking candidate books directly on to a shift.
