Following the recent release of a new template for the monthly NHSEI return from NHS England, we are pleased to let you know that we have updated the relevant dashboard within Patchwork Insights.
One of the most significant benefits that come with greater data visibility is the reduction in manual tasks for staffing teams. By having all data consolidated in one place, staff can avoid the tedious and time-consuming process of manually searching for the information they need. Instead, data can be automatically collated, processed and presented in a way that is easy to understand and analyse.
The bespoke NHSEI dashboard in Patchwork Insights is designed to do just that. The dashboard automatically builds NHSEI returns for its users, meaning staff no longer have to worry about collating and formatting data; they need only copy and paste the information into the relevant report section.
New and improved
- The updated dashboard is now in line with all the new elements from NHSEI. This first iteration includes medical & dental staff groups - AfC updates will follow shortly
- Changes to help improve the automated mapping of new departments and grades in your Patchwork account to the options on the NHSEI template
- The dashboard has had an overall spring clean, ensuring it remains clear and easy to use
Important actions and information
- In order to ensure the data reported by the dashboard is as accurate and complete as possible, please review the tab marked “ACTION REQ” and email help@patchwork.health to report any unmapped departments, grades, reason codes or agency names
- Due to the improved automation in the mapping processes on the new dashboard, there may be some discrepancies from previously reported figures if there was unaccounted-for data in previous calculations. However, we are confident that this update delivers the most accurate method for ensuring completeness of data.
The new dashboard will be updated for any Patchwork Insights users who already have access to the previous NHSEI template dashboard.
